In 2015, an agreement was signed with the Eurasian National University named after N. Gumilev (ENU) of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the implementation of a double-major master's program. In the same year, an agreement was signed with the North China Water Resources and Hydropower University on the implementation of network bachelor's programs in "Civil Engineering" and "Architecture". In June 2016, the first international project "Summer University" in English was organized for foreign students from India, Mexico and China under two programs: "Design of metal and reinforced concrete structures", "Architecture and urban planning". In 2018, a double-major program was launched with the South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Finland). About 2,000 foreign students study at the institute every year (including from China, Mongolia, Colombia, Pakistan, Turkey, Yemen, Kazakhstan, Bolivia, etc.), and the institute staff has prepared 65 monographs, more than 200 textbooks and manuals for them.
