€ 278.846,15 Ürün Kodu : MÜNİH TEKNİK ÜNİVERSİTESİ ALMANCA MİMARLIK BÖLÜMÜThe Department of Architecture and Built Environment (ABE) welcomes you to the Technical University of Mombasa (TUM). Commencing in 2017, the department is the youngest department in the University.
The department offers two Diploma courses, namely the Diploma in Architecture and the Diploma in Quantity Surveying. We also offer Bachelor of Architecture Studies and Bachelor of Architecture degree programs.
Our staff is highly experienced and highly trained to deliver architectural pedagogy. Our courses are practice-oriented and prepare students for the construction and building industry upon graduation. In addition to theory classes and studio sessions, students participate in internal and external industrial contacts that expose them to the architecture industry. Field visits and practical classes in laboratories are part of the architectural education we offer.
TUM, the only university in Kenya with sea level and historical buildings, emphasizes Architecture Conservation, Design of Hospitality and Tourism facilities and Environmental Architecture through its ABE department, which Mombasa offers easily.
During its short tenure from 2017 to date, the ABE Department has worked to internationalize the architecture program by partnering with international universities to undertake virtual joint studio semesters – the first international partnership of its kind on the African continent. We also ensure that our students receive high quality architecture education by collaborating with other Kenyan universities offering architecture courses. The Department also accepts international students through a semester exchange program.
