Here at the Faculty,
we teach how to design and build computers. The entire academic staff of the Faculty are scientists, engineers and senior civil servants in the field of computer technology. Our students acquire knowledge and skills in the development and design of computing systems, from microprocessors to personal computers and smartphones, from Internet of Things installations to robot control systems, from computer clusters to data processing centers;
they study systems programming technologies, since no application or information service can exist without a reliable operating system, computing network, computer cluster or cloud-based software platform;
they teach programming and develop new programming technologies. Our students acquire knowledge, skills and experience in programming the information systems of the future: cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data mining, big data and the Internet of Things;
they train specialists in the fields of graphics application programming, 3D graphics and animation, design, usability, web development, computer interface design and engineering graphics. Graduates of the faculty can apply information and multimedia technologies in many artistic fields such as theater, cinema and television, and also engage in research, projects and practical activities in the field of mass media, advertising, business communication and media industry; focus on cutting-edge methods of human-computer interaction. The approaching era requires the integration of biological and computer intelligence at a completely new level. The faculty trains students in methods of information processing and programming technologies.
