The program aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge in natural sciences, as well as specialized knowledge in chemistry, biology, genetics, bioinformatics and biophysics. During the study process, students choose the most interesting area for themselves: bioinformatics, biophysics, molecular biology, genetics, etc. The task of the program is to provide the most complete representation of these areas for further specialization of students and to provide opportunities for in-depth study of the chosen areas of specialization.
Biomedical engineering is a program that combines the fundamentals of physics and mathematics with specialized biological and medical knowledge. This feature gives graduates an advantage over other candidates for future employers. Our graduates work in science and many commercial enterprises. During their studies, our students participate in research work with our partners: BostonGene, ChemRAR, Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology, RAS; Rogachev National Research Center for Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology; Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, RAS; Scientific Research Institute of Physical-Chemical Medicine; Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Care; Vavilov Institute of General Genetics, RAS, RVC, etc. Our educational program sends students to leading international and Russian research centers and institutes, including some that participated in the creation of the program
